Asahi is one of rural port towns in Chiba prefecture which is neighbour of Tokyo. The sea in front of Asahi is shallow for a good distance from the shore. There has been no tsunami in this port since ancient times.
However that day, tsunami attacked there. (↓ I found some video of tsunami in Asahi. )

I saw it on the news. Which I doesn't come even close to what it must have been like...it was like I was watching a movie rather than a real-life disaster. I heard there are still more earthquakes happening. I pray they stop.

Yes. Japan is attacked by big aftershocks everyday. Everyday, everyday, everyday...
There was a big earthquake in Tokyo few hours ago again.
