Kai Dog with Mt.Fuji

Kai Dog [甲斐犬] which is living at a lodge on the top of Mt.Mitsutouge[三つ峠].
Kai Dog is one of Japanese dogs which were dogs in Kai [甲斐] (present: Yamanashi Prefecture[山梨県]). As you know, Akita and Shiba are the most popular among Japanese dogs. Kai is less popular than them.
But Kai Dog are brave dogs which ancestry were hunting dogs. Kai Dog sometimes fought with wild-bores and so on. Their fur's colouring is called Torage [虎毛](tiger fur) because their fur looks like (a bit) tiger stripes.
If you are a fan of Ginga Nagareboshi Gin and Ginga Densetsu Weed, you probably know Kai 3 brothers.

Mitsutouge is one of mountains in Yamanashi. It's a famous mountain for a good view point of Mt.Fuji[富士山]. When I went to there the last summer, it was not bad weather. I was able to look the top of Mt.Fuji. In addition to it, he was sitting on a bench of an open space. I took him at the front of Mt.Fuji.
